The Greenhouse and Garden Team helps operate and expand the Center’s greenhouse and supports our annual plant sale.

You will work with your hands, watch things grow, and share the harvest with a community that gathers around it.
What You Will Do
Winter
- Clean and organize the greenhouse
- Inventory supplies
- Plan the upcoming growing season
- Order seeds and materials
Spring
- Plant seeds
- Water and maintain seedlings
- Transplant plants
- Recruit volunteers
Community Partnerships
- Solicit donations from local nurseries and businesses
- Seek donations of seeds, pots, soil, and gardening supplies
- Develop relationships with local garden clubs
Annual Plant Sale
Held each May. Volunteers assist with:
- Pricing plants
- Advertising
- Display setup
- Customer assistance
- Sales
- Cleanup
