The Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is funded through government and private foundation grants, fees for services and donations from individuals, businesses and many service organizations. Donors include the Rasmuson Foundation, the Gottstein Family Foundation, the Richard L. and Diane M. Block Foundation, MJ Murdock Charitable Trust, Mat-Su Health Foundation, ConocoPhillips Alaska, the Lions Clubs of Alaska, Ophthalmic Associates, Alaska Eyecare Centers, Wolf Eye Center and more.

Become a member of our Sustainers Circle by making a monthly gift through PayPal, credit card or check.

  • Your gift of $10 a month for a year will buy 3 to 4 white canes or two talking watches.
  • Your gift of $25 a month for a year will send a camper to Camp Crescendo, our summer camp for blind and visually impaired youth.
  •  Your gift of $50 a month, $75 a month or $100 a month will help to fund our existing and new programs at the Center that provide rehabilitation and vocational training for all visually impaired and blind Alaskans.
